CAPTION:

Giulio ANDREOTTI, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Italy, speaking this afternoon at a meeting of the Security Council on the Iran/Iraq conflict which was attended by seven Foreign Ministers. The Council unanimously adopted a resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, called on the Secretary-General to send UN observers to the area and to convene an impartial body of inquiry into the responsibility for the conflict (20 Luglio 1987).
